Caution: RGB LED DIP Chips are current-operated devices. The slight shift of voltage will cause a big change in current, which can damage the LEDs. To prevent over-current, customers should use resistors in series. For consistent light-color on multiple LEDs connected in parallel, it is suggested to use individual resistors separately, as shown in Circuit A. If multiple LEDs are connected without individual resistors as shown in Circuit B, the light-color of each LED might be different due to the different I-V characteristics of each LED. High ambient temperatures can affect the brightness of LEDs and their properties, so please keep them away from heat sources for better performance. Storage: The recommended storage before unpacking is a temperature of 5℃30℃ and humidity below 60% RH. Dehumidification should be done before use if stored for more than 2 months, under conditions of 60℃/12 hours. The suggested storage requirement should be a temperature of 530°C and humidity below 30% after opening the package. RGB LED DIP Chips are sensitive to humidity and should be stored in a sealed container with a desiccant or nitrogen moisture-proof cabinet to avoid moisture absorption after unpacking. The moisture-proof level of RGB LED DIP Chips is MSL3. The component should be used within 168hrs(7 days) after unpacking and be welded as soon as possible. The component should be dehumidified when it is exposed to the air for more than 168hrs(7days) or when the desiccant has expired. Electrostatic Protection: RGB LED DIP Chips are sensitive to electrostatic discharge, which can damage their structure and cause abnormal performance, such as excessive leakage current, low VF, or inability to illuminate. To prevent electrostatic damage, please follow the precautions below: wear an anti-static wristband or anti-static gloves when handling RGB LED DIP Chips; provide grounding protection for all machinery and equipment tools, work tables, material racks, etc. (within 10Ω of grounding impedance); use anti-static bags, anti-static boxes, and anti-static turnover boxes for storage or transportation; never use plastic; use an ion fan to suppress electrostatic generation during operation; and maintain a static field voltage of less than 100V within a 1-foot radius from the RGB LED DIP Chips. Clean: We recommend using isopropanol or other alcohol solvents rather than corrosive solutions to clean RGB LED DIP Chips.
